Combat Patrol boxes are a solid cornerstone of a miniature army for those who know who they want to play as. Unlike the Starter Boxes, you can choose from all playable Warhammer factions. In Combat Patrol, you'll find smaller armies that more or less hold game synergy (they complement each other well in battles). The box works out more financially than units bought separately. Therefore, they are often a popular expansion or first step for newcomers.
